Q. and State Police. I live on the Southside of Indianapolis. So, I would prefer to have the above frequencies for the Southside. I have tried www.scannermaster, www.radioreference, and www.cityfreq.com. I know that Uniden can program this for me, but I really do not want to pay $35 + and I know Radio Shack can do it for free, but I have read many complaints where they have not done this correctly. To monitor Indianapolis you need a scanner capable of trunking radio system coverage. In the short term future you will need one capable of digital or P25 or APCO P25 coverage. You best purchase would be one of the following: Uniden/Bearcat BC996 BC396 Radio Shack Pro 96 Pro 2096 gre psr500 PSR600 Then you will be able to moinitor the Marion County radio system. Till then you will hear a mix of all the users on the various channels. No way to program in specific users as your present 350C does not support trunking ability.
