How can philippines become a better country?
Q. I visit the Philippines often, about 3 times a year. My wife is a philipina. My question is what's wrong with the philippines?? Great people, beautiful country, plenty of beaches, freindly and hard working people, etc. But still, the country is a mess. I'm sure everyone is going to blame it on the corrupt politicians. But that's taking the easy way out. I think the corrupt politicians are a product of the people themselves. I think one big problem in Manila is the situation with the squaters. They've totally messed up the city. Not just short term either. No one wants to invest in Manila, because it's future doesn't look very bright. It's a messy city which looks like will get only messier. Please no hate answers. I want to get some… [cont.]

Paying down debt, as an individual or a nation, requires either an increase of income (revenues) [cont.]

What can the Philippines do to rid themselves of the radical Muslims?
Q. The Philippines is the #1 home of Abu Sayef and the #2 home of Al Queda, and the bombs are going off daily How can they deal with things there ?

A. One my friend bombs do not go off everyday here. And the truth is I do not think they are from the Muslims. Rather these are scare tactics used by either the current government of the Philippines and/or some of the Opposition politicians. As for how to dispose of the radical muslims...Mindanao must be developed into a stable peaceful and prosperous territory (sounds impossible already dosent it?) with legit representatives for the Muslims in government. These terrorists get people for suicide bombers cause many are poor and destitute here in this Country. Once they find that their lives are not miserable and are worth living then they will not blow themselves up for some stupid religious cause. In addition the existing terrorists must be… [cont.]
